Rare and beautiful small Antique Biscuit porcelain vase by Pirkenhammer. Decorated in Royal Vienna Style, this beautiful piece features a skillfully hand painted portrait of a young woman inside a heavily gilded medallion.
This piece is a truly a small work of art.
It also features deep cobalt blue enamel scrolls and around the medallion and embellished by rich gilding on the interior (neck area).
Condition: some minor wear to gilt on the medallion and wear on the top rim; minor wear and scratches; wear on foot. Overall good condition considering the age); use related marks; wear and firing imperfections on the foot.
Marked on the underside with impressed “C F” which to the best of my knowledge can be attributed to Christian Fischer, Pirkenhammer. There is also an impressed “146”.
This piece was decorated sometime during the second half of 19th century.
Measures 5.85”H

International customers – I am happy to work with international clients, but please be advised that there could be VAT import
taxes and tariffs that maybe be due to you when your item arrives. These additional
charges are based on an individual country import laws and eBay sellers have no
control of it. It is always good to check with your country’s customs.
Because most of my items are extremely fragile, I use larger boxes with extra padding and most often double box. Shipping costs are based on these factors.
