An unusual badge to see these days being a relic of the Cyclists Battalions formed prior to WW1 being an attempt to increase mobility with Bicycles.

The Huntingdonshire Battalion was one of the last to be formed being established in 1914.the Battalion was deployed on patrolling the Eastern Counties and eventually was broken up and the troops  posted as infantry tp County Regiments in France and elsewhere.
