The Epiphone Adam Jones Art Collection consists of seven different Les Paul Custom models finished in a silver burst finish, each with a different design of seven different works of art on the body back of each model.
Adam supervised the main artwork and artist Korin Faught designed the artwork on the back of each model's headstock. Five renowned artists will be featured in this collection, and only 800 of each model will be produced worldwide. This unprecedented limited edition collection is a landmark in Adam's vision of combining art and music.
The third piece from the Adam Jones Les Paul Custom Art Collection features Julie Heffernan's "Study For Self Portrait with Rose Skirt and a Mouse" on the body back. The specifications have been carefully crafted to ensure that guitarists can produce their best musical work.
The binding is made of maple on a mahogany body, and the neck design is an Adam Jones Custom Profile. The neck design features an Adam Jones custom profile, a 3-piece maple neck with binding, and an ebony fretboard. An upside-down Epiphone ProBucker™ Custom humbucker is mounted in the neck position, and an ™ Seymour Duncan® Distortion is mounted in the bridge position, connected to a CTS® potentiometer and Orange Drop® capacitor. The body is decorated with the name of the artist and his work on the back. A control plate with the artist's name and artwork is mounted on the back of the body. The guitar is finished in Antique Silver Burst, a tribute to Adam's original 1979 Gibson Custom Silver Burst, and comes with a Protector hardshell case.
