The 12 string VSA500 is fitted with a pair of Wilkinson® WOCHB hum cancelling pickups delivering exceptional clarity and versatility whilst capturing the natural, melodic 12 string chime, coupled with an airy woodiness from the hollow, maple body construction. As most guitar players will be aware, one of the original ideas behind semi-hollow guitars was to deliver the acoustic properties of archtop guitars at louder volumes with reduced feedback, this is where all models in the Vintage VSA500 Series shine. Body: Maple body with maple top provides resonance, tone and ‘correct weight’ comfort. The VSA500 features Vintage's unique, offset double cutaway evolutionary body shape, ingeniously-designed offset heel and enhanced treble side cutaway to improve upper fret access and playability. Bridge: Wilkinson Tune-O-Matic bridge provides superb tuning stability along with adjustable intonation for each string. Pickups: Two Wilkinson Vintage Voiced WOCHB double coils provide thick and rich tones. Controls: Dual master Volume and Tone pots with three position pickup selector switch. Machine heads: Vintage deluxe with Ivory button machine heads provide simple, effective action for superb tuning stability. Neck: One piece Mahogany with classic Vintage ‘soft C’ profile for instant comfort, speed, accuracy and great feel. Fingerboard: 12" radius fingerboard provides positive feel and superior playability. Frets: 22 Medium Jumbo profile frets add to comfort, accuracy and overall positive feel of the Vintage VSA500. Nut: 43mm Graphtech NuBone for smooth and friction-free string bending and tuning. Headstock: Classic Vintage headstock design for balance and visual appeal. Any tracking information will be provided upon dispatch of the order. Ivor Mairants Musicentre commit to delivering on time, we rely however, on our carriers to fulfil their contract in this regard, and can not be held liable for any failure of third parties in fulfilling delivery expectations. DPD currently offer a free of charge enhanced service such as DPD PREDICT, which allows the consignee to be alerted by e-mail and/or text message of the delivery window and allows for changes allowed by the contract carrier to the detail of the actual delivery time and/or location. Where such services are available all orders will benefit from auto enrolment in the services. Ultimately, if there is no-one to sign for your delivery, you will be left a card by our contract carrier inviting you to collect from the depot or re-arrange delivery. ABOUT IVOR MAIRANTS MUSICENTRE The UK's Premier Online Guitar & Musical Instrument Store. Sixty-one years ago, in 1958, Ivor and his wife Lily opened The Ivor Mairants Musicentre, Britain's first specialist guitar store, situated in the heart of London's West End. Many of the world's best guitars and guitar accessories were introduced into Britain by Ivor at his store, which became and has remained, a mecca for professional and amateur guitarists at all levels of ability. On 31st December 2019, the lease on the iconic Central London storefront ended and sadly, at the close of business on Saturday 14th December 2019 the Musicentre storefront in Rathbone Place, London closed for business. The shop has continued as an online retailer, maintaining a growing online presence through their website, eBay, Amazon and Reverb channels, with each channel offering a variety of unique pieces as well as every day essentials for a variety of musicians including licensed products, guitar accessories and spares. |
