Most of the cancelation stamps for this variety are ineligible or smeared and can not be read. The validity of this stamp is unquestionable with this almost perfest handstamp. 

The paper backing of this used stamp was professionally removed in the mid to late 1960s with a stamplift device. The stamp has no gum backing, but the backing is clean with no rips or tears.
