Huge fan of Torche. We saw this tour in both our hometown of NYC then I remember we all drove down to Philly to catch them at this place called the Starlight Ballroom. They had a lot of great shows there including one of the many Lifetime reunion shows but that’s a whole different shirt category. The greatest thing about this show was a fellow fan came with a giant foam sign that they made. It was in the shape of a mushroom cloud from an atomic bomb. Anyway, this kid, at the first drop out of the beat during Charge of the Brown Recluse (go play that song and imagine it) this kid raised the sign in sync with the first “boom” and it was the greatest thing we’ve ever seen at a show. Even the band cracked it. It was so perfect. Shows in Philly are the best. Hope that fan is alive and well!
