Märklin 60216 Central Station 3 Plus – Märklin’s top control unit

As a multi-protocol control device, the Central Station 3 plus, with its high-resolution color touchscreen, the 2 speed controllers and the integrated central track diagram control panel, offers the option of easily and conveniently controlling the locomotives and the entire system. Up to 32 functions can be switched on locomotives.

For accessories, up to 320 Motorola or 2048 DCC magnetic items can be switched via the Central Station 3 plus. The Central Station 3 plus also has 2 built-in locomotive card readers (for saving locomotive data on a locomotive card or for quickly calling up the locomotive by inserting the locomotive card), an SD card slot for memory expansion and an integrated loudspeaker for playing sounds typical of model railways.

A powerful booster is integrated to supply the system with driving and switching current.

The Central Station 3 plus is multi-device capable, i.e. with the optional cable (60123) several Central Station 3 plus (60216) can be operated together on one system. Additional control panels, additional layouts and keyboards expand the operation of the system, whereby common and separate configurations for the system areas to be controlled can be maintained in the Central Station 3 plus.

The Central Station 3 plus has an integrated s88 connection, 2 built-in USB hosts (e.g. for mouse, keyboard, USB stick), a USB charging socket, a network connection for communication with a PC, connections for 2 mobile phones Stations, a connection for external loudspeakers and others for the Märklin bus system.

Load capacity on the connecting track: max. 5 A, load capacity on the programming track: max. 1.2A

The Central Station 3 plus is only available in conjunction with the switching power supply 60061 or 60041 (60101 for track 1 and L51095 for LGB) should be used (not with transformers such as 60052). When using the switching power supply 60061 there is a maximum output power of 58 VA and a maximum current of 3 A (with the 60216 with switching power supply 60101/L51095 there is a maximum current of 5 A, recommended exclusively for track 1/LGB. Please pay attention to the cable cross-section larger than 0.5 mm²!).
