Beautiful Antique Cabinet Plate - Martial Redon LIMOGES France.

The plate features lovely and elegant Art Nouveau style mold with scalloped, gilded edges. It is decorated with an image of a little child with a bow and arrow, which appears to be hand painted, as brush strokes are apparent. But it can also be handpainted transfer, which was a common decorative practice during that era.

Condition: As Is due to a faint hairline, a small chip on the rim underside, and a rough area along the rim. Otherwise no large chips or repairs noted. Some wear to decorations and use related marks (please see pictures). Typical wear and minor scabs on the foot and rims. Scratches near rims. A few spots with gilt loss and a few small spots where painting/enamel wore off. All imperfections correspond with age. Please see pictures for more details.

International customers – I am happy to work with

international clients, but please be advised that there could be VAT import

taxes and tariffs that maybe be due to you when your item arrives. These additional

charges are based on an individual country import laws and eBay sellers have no

control of it. It is always good to check with your country’s customs.

Because most of my items are extremely fragile, I use larger

boxes with extra padding and most often double box. Shipping costs are based on

these factors.
