The Chess State - The Hermann Ohme Series. Herman Ohme Series of Chessmen are a faithful reproduction to the original design cast in black and white plastic.

It features a 3.74″ King with a 1.37″ diameter base. The Chess pieces are hand carved by our master artisans and crafted out of the highest grade woods.

All the pieces are hand carved and it takes our expert carver  upto 2 weeks to finish a full set and sometimes even more so we maintain a regular stock of all our items. All the pieces are weighted with individual metal studs inserted at the bottom to make them ideal for good balance and speed play. The beautiful Staunton chess set pieces with the meticulously handcrafted knights are carved with perfection and expert precision. It has been designed to withstand the rigours of practical play while maintaining an elegance.
