Alice was the wife of the famous French impressionist, Claude Monet.

She inspired him to design the beautiful water-lily pond in their garden at Giverny 

- the subject of many of his paintings

Alice was hand-crafted from wavy golden, sparse, mohair.

She is fully-jointed, has a shaven muzzle, brown ultra-suede 

paw pads (signed right foot) and black eyes

Approx height:38cm/15" 

She wears a lilac satin ribbon bow

 and a straw hat with floral trimming

Swing tag certificates attached and fabric label to her lower back

Beautiful bear in excellent condition.

Note: there is a personal message handwritten on the back of her certificate
