In 1923, hyperinflation hit the  German Weimar Republic. This is a RARE stamp of that era.

The German empire did not have time to redesign postage stamps because of the rapid advance of inflation. Instead, they overprinted the postage stamps.

This 200 mark stamp was overprinted with 2 million. Most of the stamps that were overprinted were done between August and the end of October 1923.

I acquired this vintage stamp from some some nice folks in a small village, a couple miles south of Fulda, Germany. It took quit a bit of bartering and the deal was finally closed for this stamp during a nice meal at a quaint "Gasthouse" near the main Kaserne of the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment that was located in Fulda.

Please check out the attached photos. The stamp pictured is the EXACT stamp you will receive.

I  strive for next business day shipping when possible.  Thank you, and God bless.
