INFORMATION FOR POTENTIAL BUYER:
- I have decided to put my silver coin and bar collection up for sale (and to keep my life organized by having it all here in my eBay store). Some pieces I've had since I was a kid (1970s), while others I've recently acquired. Either these pieces sell and I'm able to pay rent next month ... or I die and my collection goes to my Granddaughter. If you aren't happy with my asking price, feel free to shoot me an offer, but please don't complain. No need for that. Yes, some pieces in my collection I highly value, so you will want to make an offer that's strong enough for me to want to part with that item.
- Some coins, rounds and bars have dings, scratches, toning,
smudges, etc. You should be able to see these imperfections in the
images provided. I won't point them out individually, thus the quantity and quality of the images taken. I want you to know what you're buying. No surprises!
- If seeing a photo of the item on my little scale, I've noticed it to be off +/- a gram on the 1 ounces pieces. Possibly off a bit more on the larger ones.
- I tried the white glove treatment but it's too bulky and slows things down so I handle my silver with clean dry hands.
- Some coins and bars have toning, while others have some milk spots and some have scratches and/or dings from handling. Please view all photos to see exactly what I have here.
- Some coins/bars can be AU or BU or better or worse. I'll let you decide.
- Please ask any questions before you buy. If I do not respond, that means your answer is right here in the listing. If you show disrespect in my direction, you will be blocked from doing business with me. I have neither the time nor the patience for disrespectful humans... so be NICE!
- You will receive exactly what is described in listing and/or shown in photos. If you do not, then we have a problem and I'd like to know about it asap.
- All sales are final and all items are sold "as is".
- Making an offer? Please remember that eBay takes a large percentage off the top (yes, out of my pocket) … so if I accept your low offer, it probably means that I need funds now, so thanks in advance for making a speedy payment... and if you see a big sale happening, that means I need funds NOW.
- If you do not see "it" or read about "it", then "it" is not included.
PHOTOGRAPHY:
- Some of these images are created by using axial illumination with a Sony A7III with a Laowa 100mm manual focus macro lens. Some are with the Sigma 18-50mm 2.8 lens on a Sony A6400 inside an LED light box.
- Lighting can be tricky so I try to capture each piece at different angles with different types of lighting to show you as
much detail as I can. I see some sellers using fake edits
for their coins. I won't do that to you.
- Lots of time spent taking all these photos ... but most of my time is spent editing; cropping, adding light, etc. I want each image to be as nice as possible. Yes, I'm a photographer that cares.
SHIPPING:
- The shipping total you see includes: a box, insurance, bubble wrap, popcorn, tape and/or whatever it takes to create a properly packaged item, so your item arrives in the same condition as when it left my hands. Don't like the total you see? Then please do not make your purchase. I drive to the post office to get your item(s) safely handed off, so that takes time, gas and wear/tear on my truck.
- Due to all the fees/costs/time involved, I do not combine shipping when using eBay.
- I only use my shipping accounts.
- If your package gets lost or destroyed, you're covered for the amount paid.
- I plan on getting your package handed off to a carrier within 4 business days (sometimes quicker). If you are in a rush, talk to me before making your purchase, as I am out of town from time to time (that'll be shown at the top of the listing).
- USPS will need your signature at delivery for many of the items sold. If that's a problem, please speak up.
- NO local pickups, unless otherwise specified in the listing.
OUTSIDE US SALES:
- Using the USPS requires me to load up the goods, drive across town, stand in line... quite costly in time and gas.
- Import duties, taxes and other charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These fees are the buyer’s responsibility.
OTHER:
- From time to time, I lose items. I try to stay organized, but sometimes it happens. If it does, your entire payment will be refunded, with an apology from me.
- I do not use a telephone to communicate... ever. EBay communications stay on my computer, giving us both accurate records of what has been said. Besides, I'm getting old and have a bad memory. No time to chat on the telephone (I'm a Grandpa now).
- I'm a "ONE MAN SHOW" over here. I'm not a large company and I have no employees. I do it all myself. Tic-Toc, time is money.
