This is a vintage set of Confederate States of America "facsimile" (not real) postage stamps.

I purchased this set in Dallas in 1959. This particular set of fourteen stamps was made for a few years only in the late 1950s.

These facsimile stamps were marketed, especially to stamp collectors.

This particular set of facsimiles was not imperforate. These stamps were "die cut," and there were tiny tabs between the stamps holding them together.

These stamps are made on a thick white paper. The print is of excellent quality. There is no gum on the reverse. Instead, on the back of each stamp it reads, "Facsimile," then reads No. 1 through No. 14.

These facsimile stamps would make a great addition to anyone's collection, and they are indeed a special conversational item, to say the least.

Please check out the attached photos. The facsimile stamps pictured are the exact stamps you will receive.

I  strive for next business day shipping when possible. Thank you, and God bless.
