Waist 30 inches. This is the true waist. The dropped waist is 20 inches down from the outside shoulder and is 32.5 inches
Hips are full, under the dropped waist

Across the back shoulders 17 inches

 To make sure something will fit, take measurements from a piece of clothing that fits you well and use those measurements to compare. If you use your personal actual measurements, you should always figure needing two inches extra for breathing room.

Fabric is machine lace over a satin ivory. Most likely polyester based.  Large inside shoulder pads. Ruffles at the shoulder extend the sleeves outward. It is a ivory cream, with yellow undertones.

Condition

Very good condition. No holes in the lace. The under arms are clean.

This dress is a reaction to the very popular Gunne Sax style dresses of the 80s. Many companies jumped on the Gunne band wagon and produced their own versions of the soft and romantic dresses. Gunne Sax was very expensive for the time and so it made sense for companies to cater to women who wanted the look, but at a more affordable price. No matter the origins of this dress, though. It is soft and romantic. The dropped waist gives the dress a youthful look. This
