WATER HYACINTH
(Eichhornia crassipes)
Delicate flowers that usually last only a day, grace this plant with bluish to lilac blooms marked with a yellow peacock eye on 6" spikes at the center of a rosette of glossy green, bulbous leaves. Long thick black roots trail to provide filtration, spawning and hiding places for fish.
The nutrient absorbing qualities of the hyacinth absorb excess nutrients from the water, helping to reduce algae making it the best water clarifier.

Helen's Perennial Gardens is a 3rd Generation, Family Owned and Operated, Greenhouse and Nursery. Located in Western Pennsylvania, we have been in business since 1977 but are new to Ebay and the Internet. All of our items have been grown and cared for on location.
We are dedicated to upholding the ethics and traditions of our founder, beloved Mother and Grandmother, Helen without whom we would not exist today. She will forever be dearly loved and sadly missed, but will continue to live on not only in our hearts, but throughout our gardens and yours.

Please understand that shipping any live plant, (not dormant) can be difficult to guarantee due to the number of conditions that are beyond our control the moment the plant leaves our possession.
