You are bidding on an ornate, decorative antique hardcover book titled The Lady's Album - A Gift For All Seasons. This is the very scarce and collectible First Edition. Published by Nafish & Cornish, New York and St. Louis, 1847.

This is a book of poetry with lovely copper-plate engravings. The engravings are protected by a tissue guard. 

Antique volume is ornately and gorgeously bound in black cloth with gold lettering and impressive gold designs. Covers are securely attached with no cracking or splitting of hinges. All pages are present and firmly bound (348 pages). Pages have some foxing, which is mostly very light. The outside edges of pages have gilt edge. A very rare book! Remains in very good condition.

This is a terrific book to add to a collection. Great gift idea.
