Original circa 1870's-1880's cdv photo of two cats. The cats are posed in a studio with a backdrop of velvet curtains. This photo has the imprint of the photographer on the back indicating that is was taken by Charles Verdier who had a studio located in Argentan, France. Argentan is in the northwestern region of France. The photo measures 4 1/8 inches tall by 2 7/16 inches wide. There is a pinhole at the bottom border & also a pinhole at the top border of the matt. The matt shows some soiling from age & some wear at the borders & corners. A fascinating cdv photo showing these two charming feline friends.
