You are bidding on a stunning, heavy weight, large cut glass antique crystal and solid silver perfume bottle complete with stopper. The silver top is exquisitely embossed. Measures approx 6 inches tall and approx 4 1/4 inches across at widest point. The piece is in good condition having been used and bearing a few marks from normal wear. In a bid to be thorough, there are a few tiny fleabites to the glass, one small chip (see images) and whilst the top closes nicely, the grip to keep it closed is weak. On a positive the perfume is very heavy (773 gms on the scales), the silver is in good order and the glass is very nicely cut. The top is hallmarked for Birmingham, although the letter is hard to define. I have taken some images in different light / angles to try and show the markings and confirm the age.
