Description: It is an authentic antique map approximately 117 years old by W. & A.K. Johnston, Edinburgh as stated in the bottom right margin and in the bottom left is "Oxford: Clarendon Press."  It is from the Historical Atlas of Modern Europe from the Decline of the Roman Empire comprising also Maps of Asia, Africa and the New World..., edited by Reginald Poole and published for the University of Oxford by the Clarendon Press, 1902, a copy of the title page of the Atlas is included. Also included is a sheet of related text explaining the map. It is being sold as a single map sheet, not mounted, matted nor framed, basically as seen in the main pic. Overall, a very scarce map that is difficult to find.

Size: The map area measures approximately the map area measures 9 1/2 by 12 1/2 inches (24x32cm) on an 11 by 15" page (28x38cm).
