Austrian made antique majolica figural humidor of a nice country monk with a subtle smile. His hat is removed to access the contents inside. The base is marked with incised numbers but not able to decipher. This piece is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. The cover fits a little odd because the previous owner placed a rubber gum like material on the inside rim so it would not be damaged when placed on the jar.There are remnants of clear and brown tape used to secure the hat. Approximately 7" tall to the feather x 4 1/4" wide x 4 3/4" deep
