This album showed Led Zep to be supplementing their blues influences with elements of folk and experiments on guitar by Jimmy Page, including using a banjo on one song. A transitional album that surprised fans who wanted the heavy side of Zep, so the critics were a little too harsh. It for sure indicates where they were going to go in the future.
Early U.S. edition, ARC pressing plant, with a record club stamp instead of a barcode. The disc is clean and did not need to be repolished.
