Offered is a rare vintage collectible “ΣΤΡΑΤΙΩΤΙΚΟΝ ΔΕΛΤΑΡΙΟΝ ΑΤΕΛΕΣ” (military postcard) from Greece, Asia Minor 

Campaign 1919 - 1922, “Corfou - Statue de Matelot Dans l’Achillion” (Corfu - Statue of Sailor in Achilleion). Postcard was 

published by the Hellenic Postal Service. Hand dated in the middle of back: August 15, 1920 (pictured). Hand addressed 

at bottom of back from: VΙΙΙ Β Μοίρα Ορ. (εινού) Πυρ. (ροβολικού) Μικρόν Επιτελείον Τ.Τ. 933 (VIII B Division Mountain 

Artillery Military Staff Postal Code 933) to: Piraeus (pictured).

Imprinted 5 lepta Flying Hermes 1901 at upper right and blind embossed 10 lepta Flying Mercury 1901 surcharge at upper left. 

Illegible postal cancellation “ΠΕΙΡΑΙΕΥΣ …” (PIRAEUS…) (pictured) and a military cachet at middle top: “VIII B ΜΟΙΡΑ ΟΡΕΙΝΟΥ 

ΠΥΡΟΒΟΛΙΚΟΥ” (VIII B DIVISION MOUNTAIN ARTILLERY) (pictured).

Size of the postcard is 14 cm X 9 cm (5.5 in. X 3.5 in.). Condition: crease across the top right and top left corners (pictured);
