VINTAGE TENYO CUBIO (T-20) CIRCA 1960
EFFECT
A brightly coloured cube with a string passing through it is shown by the magician. With one end of the string in each hand, they tilt it to a vertical position. The cube of course starts to fall towards the bottom - but the magician causes it to start and stop its downward movement at their command. A spectator is now invited to try it, but to their dismay the cube justs drops straight down the string.

BACKGROUND
Originally manufactured in brass by magician & celebrated journeyman machinist extraordinare, Carl Brema (1864-1942). Mr. Brema was also responsible for bringing to light, Walter Gibson's "Nickels To Dimes," coin standard. The forerunner to Tenyo's, T-69 "Dynamic Coins," variant. Other apparatus fabricated by Carl Brema include, Walter Gibson's "Bill Tube," (Tenyo 1985), "Card Box," (Tenyo T-40, Card Case), the famous and widely popular items, 21-Cent Trick, Rattle Bars, Ball & Tube, and "Spirit Nut." All masterpieces, in their own right. "Brema Brasses," have maintained a collectible desirability similar to the Tenyo phenomenon. I encourage all to investigate his historic works and immeasurable contributions to the field.
T-20 Cubio, is to date, the smallest prop ever produced by Tenyo. The cube has a white plastic background inlayed with 6 indented colour spot sides. Opposite sides possess matching colours, for a total of 3 distinct colours, (Black. Red. Yellow.). This fact is of major importance and will be explained later in performance tips. Each end of the brown string terminates with a tiny silver dumbbell to stop the cube from sliding off. All-in-all, a hardy, colorful piece of equipment. Surprisingly, this lowly plastic version defeats the high-end brass type. The singular reasoning being enhanced visibility.
