A tough, flexible hybrid sealant ideal for installing internal and
external window and door frames. Can also be used for sealing
expansion and connection joints between most common
substrates, without the use of a primer.
Provides long term weather resistant joints around fenestration and
wall transitions. Suitable for use on most common building surfaces
such as aluminium, uPVC, glass, glazed ceramics or (lacquered)
wood, even without a primer. Sealant may also be applied to lightly
moist (not saturated) surfaces. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

Preparation
Ensure all surfaces are clean and free from grease, oil or any other
contaminants that may hinder adhesion. Surfaces may be moist but
not overly saturated with water.

Application
Carefully cut the top of the cartridge taking care not to damage the
threaded area. Screw on the nozzle supplied
and cut at an angle approximately 45o.
Apply, using a standard caulking gun,
in a continuous bead along the
aperture and leave to fully cure.
Smooth the joint by tooling with a
soapy solution or using a SEALANT
APPLICATOR TOOL. Remove any excess material and clean tools
immediately with WHITE SPIRIT. Replace plastic cap after use.

Limitations
Cannot be applied to saturated surfaces. For use on bitumen-based
substrates or natural stone, a suitable primer must be used. Prestressed PMMA and Polycarbonate (PC) could result in stress cracking of the plastics. For these substrates, we recommend
conducting preliminary tests. Not recommended as a glazing
sealant for bedding in glass, for this application we would
recommend our LN7 silicone. Not suitable for bonding aquariums.
Do not use on surfaces that bleed oils or plasticisers or use with
natural stone applications. Sealant may discolour under extreme
conditions and long exposure to UV light. Can be over-painted with
water-based paints or varnish, always test compatibility before use.

Coverage
Depending upon substrate condition and porosity the approximate
coverage rates will be approximately 1m2 per cartridge.

EU3 and EU4 plastic cartridge.

Shelf Life
12 months from date of manufacture, when stored in original,
unopened cartridges.

Storage Conditions
Store in original, unopened cartridge, in a cool, dry place at a
temperature between +5o
C and +30oC.
