We ship via UPS & FedEx, if your region is considered a remote region or if UPS & FedEx doesn't deliver to your region and an alternate carrier needs to be used. You may have to pay additional shipping fees to cover the cost to ship to your area. This is not a markup, but actual costs provided by the carrier.

Product Warranty:

We cannot guarantee any further or existing manufacturer warranty. We do not offer extended warranties on any of our items for purchase.

Battery Policy:

This applies to all product that is sold with a battery.

Any unit / item that comes with a battery, the battery may or may not be functional (fully or partially). Regardless of the product is listed as brand new, open box, used or as-is. We will not authorize any refund for a battery related issue. As batteries are consumable items with limited life spans it is the responsibility of the purchaser to bid / buy accordingly with our battery policy in mind.

Return Policy:

At Surplusbydesign, items sold “As-Is” or “Working As-Is” are NOT eligible for returns, refunds and/or exchanges. AS-IS or Working AS-IS items are FINAL SALE.

Upon discovery of issues with “As-Is” and “Working As-Is” items, we stop testing and issues may not be limited to those outlined in our listing. This includes any battery with the listing too.

Cell phones:

Are sold unlocked but are not tested on any networks. Cell phones sold by Surplus By Design are not guaranteed to work outside of Canada, and may not work with all Canadian cellular providers. Please check with your provider prior to bidding to ensure whether the phone is compatible on their network. Returns related to network compatibility issues will not be accepted. Network and data connectivity have not been tested with any providers and are not guaranteed.
