These are beautiful well made buttons!
Back in the 1960's in NYC, a Jewelry Designer from Italy was making all kinds of lovely designs for jewelers and button makers, he used traditional Italian know how and only worked with Jeweler's Wax.
He would take the long rods of wax, warm them in his hands and then gently twirl each rod before he placed it with other rods to create absolutely wonderful designs.
I'm so glad to be able to offer this special artwork.
The gold color is very uniform, because these are 3 dimensional buttons the light picks up and also casts shadows so there is a variety of gold shades if the buttons are at different angles...but they are all the same shade of true gold.
Theses buttons are made of lightweight plastic so they will dress up your outfit without weighing it down.
Not sure when or where these buttons were made, we purchased them from an elderly gentleman in NYC's garment center.
