The Noise Eater NE-10/NE-1 is an innovative vibration control item that allows you to play quieter on each V-Drum series.

When playing drums, the action of stepping on the kick pedal or hi-hat control pedal is a major cause of low-frequency noise and vibration. These are particularly likely to be transmitted through the floor to the floor below or to the next room, and are often a nuisance to family and neighbors. That's where two types of Noise Eaters come in handy.

The NE-10 is a board type that can be set under various pedals to create a vibration-proof effect, and the NE-1 is a small type that can be attached to the legs of various stands. By using these, the transmission of low-frequency noise/vibration caused by pedal action to the floor surface is significantly reduced. The Noise Eater's excellent vibration-proofing performance is achieved by its uniquely shaped hemispherical anti-vibration rubber. This hemispherical anti-vibration rubber absorbs and effectively disperses vibrations during pedal action. The rubber's resilience is always optimal, so it is highly stable and does not wobble when playing.

The NE-10's board is made of an integrated steel plate and rubber structure, which makes the anti-vibration board itself less likely to make noise, and together with the 12 hemispherical anti-vibration rubbers on the bottom, it quietly absorbs vibrations. The NE-10 is compatible with the KD-9 kick pad with a commercially available kick pedal, the KD-7 kick Trigger, and the FD-8 hi-hat control pedal.
