 Description:
A specially formulated, rapid setting, cement based repair mortar for use on brickwork, blockwork and concrete.
Sets within 30 minutes. Conforms to EN 1504‐3.

Uses
For internal and external repairs to most masonry substrates; for
gap and crack filling, jointing and sealing earthenware pipes and
drains, patching steps and windowsills, setting and bedding WC’s,
sinks, railings and posts.

Preparation
All substrates must be clean and free from dust and dirt. Friable
material should be removed prior to starting work.

Mixing
Using a clean mixing pot, add approximately 3 parts CEM-QUIK to
one part water. Mix immediately to a smooth, thick, lump-free
paste.

Application
Wet surfaces thoroughly prior to application of CEM-QUIK to
improve adhesion. Apply the mortar to the repair using a trowel
or filling knife. The mixed mortar will remain workable for about
5-10 minutes. Do not mix more cement than can be used in 5
minutes. Once the mix starts to stiffen discard it. Do not add
additional water to the mix at this stage. In warm conditions cover
the repair in polythene to assist cure. CEM-QUIK can be applied up
to 25mm thickness.

Coverage
CEM-QUIK can be applied up to 25mm thickness and can be used
as a patch repair mortar.

Cleaning
All tools and equipment should be cleaned in water. Cured
material can only be removed by mechanical means

Colour
Grey in colour.

Shelf Life
6 months from date of manufacture, when stored in original
unopened bags.

Storage Conditions
Store in cool, dry conditions between 5 and 25oC.

Disposal of Containers
Do not leave empty containers where residue could be harmful to
children, animals or the environment. Remove any containers to a
central disposal point in accordance with local regulations.

children. It is the users responsibility to determine suitability for
