What we have here is a charming metamorphic piece of antique furniture,it really is delightful and actually really comfortable…..no really . It’s probably from the c 1920s & looks to have the original yellow fabric . It’s in great condition ,tight in all the joints and the sliding action to the top all works as it should . As can be seen from the pictures it’s ether a side table or a chair . Perfect for when you need an occasional seat . I thought it would work really well in a home office or artist studio in the garden .or if you have a little cottage for a corner . Wherever really . The colours are rich with good patina across the whole object , with the odd , bump and scratch but,Literally it only needs a wipe and potentially a little wax . I’ve left it completely as is ,I like to show objects as I get them rather than tarted up .what I really like also is the pierced pattern to the top/ seat back . It’s really  just the right amount of detail.
