This necklace is made using a Genuine Natural Herkimer Quartz Diamond.  The 'Y' shaped pendant is a twisted wire that has been soldered in place and at the ends.  The Herkimer Quartz Diamond is direct from a mine in Herkimer, New York.  

This Herkimer Diamond is 22mm long (2/3") and 18mm wide (slightly over 1/2").  There are some small flea ticks along some of the natural edges where it was connected to another crystal as it grew.  There are some small carbon pieces inside the crystal, along with some phantom internal crystals that grew within the crystal.  One of the rarest features of this crystal (and only occurs in a tiny fraction of crystals) is an enhydro, or water trapped inside the crystal with a tiny bubble.  This enhydro is visible with a pocket microscope, but can't really be seen by looking at it.

The necklace is 16" long with an additional 2" extender chain, for a total length of 18".  There is a 10mm Herkimer crystal attached at the end of the extender chain.

It is stamped .925 (Sterling Silver)

All wire, chain and clasp is solid genuine Sterling Silver.
