- Traditional folk clothed cotton doll of the Southeast Asia Hill tribe-lived in the mountains of China, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, and northern Thailand.
- Women were skilled in weaving and made clothing that protected them from the cold mountain climate and fits their active lifestyle of hunting, trapping, and riding horses. Clothing forms include high-necked, long-sleeved jackets and long trousers that fit tightly at the ankles. They also produce delicate patchwork trims and unusual embroidery work and often wear plain, simple metal jewelry.
