This listing is for a Fantastic Distressed Antique Blue Chinese Peking 19th C. Measuring 107 inches by 138 inches or 9 feet by 11.5 Feet , hand woven / hand knotted Oriental rug , , Exceptional ancient archaic floral detail.

In Distressed Antique Extremely Clean  as shown Condition . Both sides have been hand salvaged and both ends have been double secured. Half dozen or so fingernail size holes have been re-warped and re-wefted in anticipation of reweaveing / repiling. Only a couple of small breaks noted, with areas  with wear having undamaged foundation. An area which shows darker in images has been painted at one point in time . A great project for someone that intends to further restore the rug and or for a very low traffic area in need of Archaic Chinese details and colors.

It is a rare piece , strong and together, ready for further work or display.



It has been Soak washed by a textile conservator , last on 6/16/23 , it is clean enough to touch face with.

It weighs 28.5 lbs net


It will be shipped folded and rolled.
