1968 Silver Age. Reprint stories with new Origin Story of the Legion of Super-Heroes!! This is the only Superboy issue EVER to have been reprinted in entirety in the modern age (2003). Neal Adams artwork. This copy has some flaws to note: some cumulative spine splitting top and bottom (see photos), other spine wear and stress, corners rounded and blunted, some color rub, edge stress, edge tear along the front right edge, plus two tiny pieces missing along right front edge at center area. Some minor foxing along bottom edge. Fingerprint over Cosmic Boy's face. 1 inch tear on upper spine back cover. Early soiling. Some stress lines. Staple imprints. Interior pages are white and supple with mostly good corners. Inks are bright, cover retains some reflectivity. Book is flat and complete. Staples are clean and tight. Book retains most of it's structural integrity and still presents acceptably. It is well read. Using Overstreet guidelines, I grade this copy around 4.0 VG.
