Vintage Solid Brass Soldier Figure Ornament Statue.

I've no idea what this is see photos, made of brass with vintage patina, overall length is 12 CMS , Soldier stands 8cms tall , looks to me like the base of a  claw  footed table leg with soldier figure bolted to it , thanks for looking
