"BANTEN TEA" is organic tea made from Camellia Sinensis tea leaves which are picked directly by hand and processed purely without preservatives, pesticides and other chemicals, so it is safe for consumption.

Organically grown tea where fertilizers and pest control ingredients are made from organic ingredients without the slightest chemical ingredients. This can be proven by the passing of our products from organic certification tests according to American, European and Japanese standards by the international body IMO (Institute for Marketecology) from Switzerland.

This organic tea also won a Gold medal in the 6th Annual North America Tea Conference competition and also won the Primaniyarta award from the Indonesian government as a potential leading exporter in 2015. So the taste and quality are definitely guaranteed :)

TERROIR

Harendong Estate is located in the Mount Halimun area, where Halimun means mist in the local Sundanese dialect.

With the elevation between 800 to 1,000 meters (2,625 to 3,280 ft), the 350 acres estate is often covered in morning and evening mists. The cool weather, high annual rainfall of 4,000 to 6,000 mm, and mineral rich soil present the perfect trifecta for a tea plantation producing quality tea.

Notes: Light golden hue with a fruity and floral fragrance. As the tea develops, the initial earthy flavors transform into a lingering finish of herbs and flowers.
