A rare vintage double sided stains medal depicting Saint John Paul II as Pope and the "Black Madonna" Matka Boska Czestochowska of Poland on the reverse. The medal is heavy yellow gold plated over a base metal which may be bronze. The bale ring is a open ring of steel with a an opening to accommodate up to a 3 mm chain. Would make an excellent momento or special gift. Please see photos.
