Fabric is linen on the top. It could be a linen and rayon blend. The skirt is a coarsely woven fabric with a nubble texture. It is black and white with subtle blocks of green.  This dress is fully lined in black.

Condition

No stains, holes, or tears. This dress probably once had a matching jacket, but it is missing. This dress has been previously washed and worn. It has a certain vintage softness. The label says this is dry clean, but I am sure this has been washed in water, which makes it softer and less crisp.

I always like the Lanz label. They were an Austrian company that liked to mix in a little folk peasant vibe into their pieces. This slim sheath dress is a quite chic design for them. But that coarse skirt has some of that more natural feel. I think the green shade in the the skirt could make for some interesting color combinations.
