This is a very nice, tiny pill box with good hallmarks. Measures 11/16" square. 8.8 grams. I am not an expert at this, but after much research I have interpreted the hallmarks as follows:
- AN into a shield - Ari D Norman. Founded in 1974. Granted in 1989 by Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Ari D. Norman was the very first company of British silversmiths to receive the supreme accolade of The Queen's Award for Export Achievement.
- Lion - Sterling Silver marked in England.
- Leopard Head - London Assay Office
- R - Date: 1991
- 925 and scales - International Common Control Mark adopted in 1976
