2022, WGSCM, 40th World Scout & Guide Collectors Meeting, Switzerland
The official participant fabric badge from the 40th WSGCM 2022 has the colour in red.
The purple fabric badge to thank all partners for their support of the 40th wsgcm has the colour purple. The scout lily and the cloverleaf indicate this international scouting event. the lower part shows the Swiss - and the Valais flag. Due to the small edition, the purple fabric badge already has a high collector's value.
Occasion:
Swiss collectors organised the 40th World Scout & Guide Collectors' Meeting (WSGCM), which took place from 28 July to 31 July 2022 on the occasion of the Federal Camp of the Swiss Scout Movement in Brig (VS).
Attending such an event allows you to visit the exhibition of Scout memorabilia and history, learn more about Scouting and collecting worldwide, meet collectors from other countries, make contacts for future exchanges, acquire items for your own collection, exchange badges, metal badges, neckerchiefs, belt buckles, books, stamps, magazines, photos, coffee mugs and all kinds of collectibles and of course make new friends. Three meetings have taken place in Switzerland so far, the first in 1983 in Bullet, the 11th meeting on the occasion of the World Moot in 1992 in Kandersteg and the 12th meeting in 1993 again in Bullet.
