I'm selling a really great vintage clock.

I say clock, but it's the size of a watch; perhaps a little large.

I did wonder about a nurse's watch?

It might even be a rare car-clock to fit into a vintage dashboard?

But I'm fairly sure this is a small bedside or desk clock.

Made by Swiss company Basis, i would guess at a date as late 1930's-1940's.

The face or dial has a very unique look. Rather Art Deco.

I'm not sure i've seen this font type of numbers before?

It was only when I took the photos  that I noticed the gold colour in the numbers.

Please see the photos and feel free to ask any questions.

It claims to have Antimagnetic Jewels, but i haven't attempted to take the back off.

And what also sets this little clock apart is that it has a great little stand.

So simple and effective.

I have listed this as gold coloured, it will be brass, but it might not be all brass.

When i found it, i gave the crown a gentle turn, and the bright red second hand swung into action.

It appears to run for few hours then stops but i dont fully wind .

It measures 3.8 cm high, 3.6 cm wide, with the stand being 4.2 cm wide. It is 1.2 cm deep.

I hope that someone will fall in love with this gorgeous lost Swiss timepiece?
