Commonly destroyed and missing part at the pivot point of the seat bottom. When the knob is installed in its place you can adjust the tilt angle of the of the seat back. The seat back is adjustable - all that you need is to install the knob in its place. This seat recline control knob will fit all the Volvo 240 models. In some cases large dished spring washer is needed to secure the knob in its place. The washer is available on our site. Please look for the part number LW13179
