Joseph Ferdinand
Gueldry (21 May 1858 – 17 February 1945) was a French painter.
He studied under Jean-Leon Gerome at Ecole des Beaux- Art in Paris
Ferdinand Gueldry, born in 1858, studied at the Paris Salon from 1878 and began his artistic career by painting local factory workers. Gueldry had a sincere style in that he painted all his subjects, which also included boats, as realistically as possible
