The Happy Hollisters and the Trading Post Mystery is a classic children's book written by Jerry West in 1954. This hardcover edition published by Doubleday features stunning illustrations by Helen S. Hamilton and comes with a dust jacket.

The Hollisters receive a donkey named Domingo, that was promised to Sue in New Mexico.  A note is attached to Domingo's halter signed Y.I.F.  This is the first Mystery in the book. The second is when a life sized model of Santa and his sleigh and reindeer disappears from the roof of The Trading Post, Mr. Hollister's store.
