Moss Agate is a semi-precious gemstone & is usually formed from weathered volcanic rocks.  Moss agate is of the white variety with green inclusions that resemble moss.  The colors are formed due to trace amounts of metal present as an impurity in the clear or milky-white quartz.

Use: These stones make beautiful ornamental beads for jewelry and other crafty projects.  Create interesting neck collars or attractive pendants with these flat teardrop-shaped gemstones. Choose a family of similar hues or use multiple colors of gemstone teardrops together.
