The Biltmore Estate is not part of America's National Parks and Monuments. The estate was built in 1889-1895 by the Vanderbilt family. The original 8,000 acre property was eventually restored & has became a very popular historic site/museum. Visitor's can arrived by auto, or bus from Asheville, NC.
