Can anyone tell me what pottery mark this is and the age please?

Approx x Width 8 5/8" (22cms) x Height when flat x 1 5/8" (4cms) 

No cracks. Small edge nibble. Condition as seen in the photos.  

I always pack my items well for a safe journey.
