Quick Reference Guide The CRD1700-4000S 4-slot cradle enables up to 4 terminals to simultaneously communicate with their associated host computers connected to a PC's serial port. Up to 4 terminals may be seated in the cradle. Additionally, up to 4 CRD1700-4000S serial cradles may be daisy-chained with this unit, providing a total of 20 slots available for host communications.. Provides for serial communication between a PC and the mobile computer using Palm Desktop Software which is available as a free download from Symbol Technologies, Inc. This cradle kit includes everything you need and works with all Symbol SPT1800 series and SPT1700 series of mobile computers. The power supply accepts input of 120-250V, 50-60hz., so this cradle can also be used outside of North America with the proper line cord for the power supply. All parts of the kit are genuine Symbol Technologies, Inc. (now Motorola) products and are in excellent working and cosmetic. The kit comes complete with cradle, serial cable, power supply, line cord, and quick reference guide. If your computer does not have serial ports, you will need to buy a USB-serial converter. We also have other accessories for the SPT1700 and SPT1800 mobile computers such as batteries, trigger handles, keypad modules, single-slot serial/charging cradles, 4-slot ethernet/charging cradles, 4-slot battery chargers, stylus's and tethered stylus's.
