This is an etching aquatint by Pierre Maurice Jobin . The artwork is signed by the artist (also in pencil) and dated, in the bottom right corner. There is a description of the artist’s background and of the aquatint etching process/procedures, attached to the dust cover that is on the back of the frame.

I can’t read the title in French but looks to read St. Louis

Pierre Maurice Jobin was born in 1946, in Baie Comeau (Quebec Province), Canada. After studying industrial design (in Quebec City), he developed an interest in drawing and print making. As a drawer, engraver, and printmaker, Jobin’s skills were self-taught. The first prints that he created were lithographs, enhanced by watercolors. Around 1980, he began to create and exhibit etchings. His etchings were focused on sites in and around historic Quebec City. Since the 1980s, his (aquatint) etchings have been very popular, with collectors.
