MBTA Toronto CLRV 4029 on Comm Ave near BU Bridge 1980 Original Kodachrome Slide

Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority Canadian light rail vehicle 4029 (and 4027) on Commonwealth Ave climbing the grade just west of BU Bridge. The Boston University West station is behind the train. Buildings on the left remain. Three Canadian light rail vehicles from the Toronto Transit Commission fleet were loaned to the MBTA for a three month test in regular service on the Green Line in the spring of 1980. The cars were assigned at various times to all of the active MBTA Green Line branches.
