The Wolfgang WG Standard is an affordable model that delivers the style and epic scale of sound that Eddie Van Halen specified.

The Wolfgang WG Standard has many features in common with its higher-end models, featuring a basswood body with special 'comfort cut' contours for maximum playability. A bolt-on baked maple neck and graphite-reinforced rods are resistant to temperature and humidity fluctuations, and a spoked wheel located in the neck tail allows for quick and easy truss rod adjustments. In addition, in pursuit of comfortable playability and speed, it features an oil-finished neck back, a 12-inch to 16-inch compound radius baked maple fingerboard with carefully edged edges, and 22 jumbo frets and black dot inlays. Dual EVH Wolfgang humbuckers mounted directly on the body deliver direct play nuances and rich sustain. The two Black Speed control knobs are manufactured to Eddie's stoic specs, and the smooth 500k pot retains the high-end extension of the Wolfgang pickups while still producing a unique sound. An EVH-branded Floyd Rose special bridge and R2 locking nut keep tuning stable, even during heavy arming.

Proven on the live stage for comfortable playing and performance, the Wolfgang WG Standard features a black headstock and hardware, and comes in an eye-catching color lineup.
